Join Vonage and help us innovate cloud communications for businesses worldwide!

Vonage Human Resources

We help the company win in the marketplace. We are ‘One HR’ team focused on putting employee experience at the center of everything we do.  We make working easier, simpler and more efficient.  We are trusted partners who are data driven and solution focused. We are Subject Matter Experts, who co-create solutions, systems & processes with the business.  We deliver ‘Operational Excellence’ in everything we do.  We embed diversity, equity and inclusion best practices into all aspects of the employee lifecycle

Why this role matters:

As our UK Country HR Partner, you'll be the trusted local HR advisor where business strategy meets talent execution. You'll partner with local and regional managers and Global HR Business Partners to implement global people strategies at the UK level, coach leaders through performance challenges, and ensure our teams have the support they need to thrive and deliver business results.

We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of UK employment practices and is comfortable operating within a global, matrixed business. The focus for the role will be supporting our managers and employees in the UK - but you will likely also play a role in supporting the wider EMEA region.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global HR Business Partners to execute HR strategies locally and provide UK market insights to inform global initiatives

  • Coach leaders & managers on performance management, talent decisions, difficult conversations, and leadership development

  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, conflicts, disciplinary and grievance processes, and policy compliance

  • Guide leaders through compensation cycles, pay equity reviews, promotions, and total rewards communication

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, analyse survey results, and champion culture and inclusion across the UK market

  • Support talent planning including succession planning, workforce planning, organisational design, and career development

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies while providing practical, pragmatic HR guidance to managers

What you'll bring

Required:

  • Demonstrable progressive HR experience with a strong focus on business partnering, employee relations, and talent management

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, and settlement processes

  • Proven track record coaching and developing managers to build their leadership capabilities

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into practical talent actions

  • Solid understanding of UK employment law, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, TUPE, and working time regulations

  • Familiarity with ACAS guidance and experience managing processes in line with the ACAS Code of Practice

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CIPD qualification advantageous)

Experience we consider a plus:

  • Experience driving employee engagement initiatives and building positive workplace culture

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using people data to drive insights

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with COEs and global partners

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems

How you’ll benefit:

  • In addition, to providing exciting work, career advancement opportunities, and a collaborative work environment, Vonage provides competitive pay and benefits including unlimited discretionary time off and tuition reimbursement.

  • Additional benefits and perks will be shared and discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process
