We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and dynamic Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant and thriving secondary school located in the heart of Romford. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become a key part of a supportive department with a strong team who work collaboratively to ensure student success.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring pupils remain on task with the work set. You will also act as a positive role model and uphold the values of the school at all times.

• The ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team of professionals

• Excellent communication skills - oral, written, and presentational

• Confidence in managing, supervising, and directing the activities of children and young people

• A proactive and strategic approach to maintaining positive behaviour and discipline

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils

• Ability to explain lesson objectives clearly and motivate students to complete set tasks

• A minimum of GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths
