About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, support staff, or professionals looking to gain school-based experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged in their learning
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and uphold the school’s expectations
• Provide feedback on lessons and report back to teaching staff
• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence across various subjects
• Support the school community by promoting the school’s core values and positive culture

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with young people in any capacity (e.g. mentoring, coaching, youth work, tutoring)
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Adaptability, reliability and confidence to step into various subject classrooms
• A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of students
• A flexible and proactive approach to daily responsibilities
