Cover Supervisor - Secondary School Setting

We are looking to appoint a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to support a thriving secondary school in East Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a natural classroom presence and the ability to take charge. Strong behaviour management is essential, as you’ll be responsible for maintaining a calm and focused environment while delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher

• Maintain control of the classroom, ensuring pupils stay engaged and follow expectations

• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently, in line with the school’s policies

• Provide a positive, structured learning experience in every lesson

• Communicate effectively with teaching staff to report on student conduct and engagement
