We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in London looking to appoint a permanent Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for someone with experience working with young people and confident leading a classroom. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects and managing the classroom in the absence of the teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Cover lessons across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared materials
• Ensure good classroom behaviour and a focused learning environment
• Report back on student progress and conduct
• Support staff with other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Experience working with secondary-aged children (school, tutoring, youth work etc.)
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Degree preferred, but not essential
