The role:

Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
Leading and supervising sports-based activities and PE lessons where required
Maintaining positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom
Encouraging student participation, engagement, and wellbeing
Supporting learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staffThe ideal candidate will:

Have a background in sport, coaching, PE, or working with young people
Be confident leading groups of secondary-aged students
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
Be enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable
Have a passion for promoting physical activity and student developmentThis is an excellent opportunity for a Sports Coach, PE Graduate, Cover Supervisor, or aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable school-based experience within a supportive secondary setting
