Cover Supervisor/ Supply Teacher

Long Term Teachers is on a hunt for a flexible educator to support schools across Taunton as a Cover Supervisor. Flexible roles are available, from full time placements to daily supply roles.

You will be supervising lessons across different subjects, keeping pupils on track with their learning and ensuring their behaviour is managed. You will be stepping into pre-planned lessons therefore planning and marking are not a part of this role however being able to lead a large group of students effectively is essential. 

This role suits a confident, reliable person who has the experience and skill necessary to lead a group of students. No two days are the same, with a variety of subjects to cover from Science, to PE every day will be a new exciting challenge. Being able to quickly build rapport with pupils and show authority without being heavy handed will be your priority. 

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher who enjoys working with young people and wants to further their career in education. You’ll be stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons therefore your main focus will be high quality teaching and student engagement.
