Academics LTD are working with an excellent secondary school in Calne who are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to start ASAP. We are looking to appoint proactive, hardworking & enthusiastic graduates to oversee lessons and support students' learning, whilst maintaining the school's high standards for behaviour when teacher colleagues are absent.

This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate Cover Supervisor who is looking to gain experience in a secondary school setting before moving on to their teacher training. This is a unique opportunity as the school offers teacher training to exceptional Cover Supervisors.

Main Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor will be:

• Manage the behaviour of students to ensure they are working in a constructive learning environment.

• Act as a role model and develop positive working relationships with students and other members of staff.

• Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers.

Ideal Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working in a school setting or experience with young people.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• A degree in any subject.
