TeacherActive are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Haverfordwest. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible or full-time work within supportive school environments.

The role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a career in teaching, or anyone with strong experience working with young people.

The Role

Supervise classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-set lessons and learning activities
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
Support pupils to remain focused and engaged
Work across different subjects and year groups
Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
Adapt confidently to different classroom environments

What We're Looking For

✅ Previous experience working with children or young people is eesential 
✅ Experience within a school setting is desirable
✅ Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Calm, reliable, and adaptable approach
✅ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
✅ Genuine passion for supporting young people
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
