About the Role

As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of learning for students across all key stages and subject areas. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment, and providing constructive feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of subjects, following pre-set lesson plans.


• Effectively managing student behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.


• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.


• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Proven experience teaching across a range of subjects at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.


• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to manage diverse learning needs.
