Are you an experienced crane engineer looking to further your career within a well established and growing crane/heavy plant hire company, that provides training opportunities alongside potential for progression?

This company supply crawler cranes from anywhere between 10 tonnes to 250 tonnes, providing full training and consultancy to all of their clients. They service and maintain all of their own equipment on their 6 acre site, as well as providing field based servicing regularly. This company have increased their inventory of cranes from 25 to 45 in the last 2 years, growing to the second largest independent crane hire company in the UK.

On offer is the chance to be a vital member of the engineering team to help service and prepare all cranes before being hired. You will also be conducting regular field based servicing and maintenance to cranes on a site-to-site basis across the UK.

This role would suit an experienced crane engineer in the Manchester area, looking to join a growing crane and plant hire company, who provide in house training to develop your career.

The role:

• Maintenance and servicing of crawler cranes between 10 tonnes and 250 tonnes
• Travel to sites to carry out servicing and maintenance on cranes and heavy plant machinery
• Maintaining service records
• Assisting in scheduling maintenance for customers
• Working on emergency breakdowns for all cranes and heavy plant equipment

The person:

• CPCS card
• Experience maintaining and servicing cranes and/or heavy plant machinery
• NVQ level 3 Plant Maintenance
