Crane Operator Maintainer 2/3

• Liaise with drilling and deck crew to plan lifting operations

• Assist with Asset risk assessments for all major lifting operations

• Perform lifting operations with pedestal cranes

• Maintain equipment in a clean and tidy condition, including cabs, machinery housings and external surfaces

• Provide daily reports in the form of a written log detailing work performed, spares ordered and consumed, general condition, status etc.

• Perform regular planned preventative maintenance, inspection and servicing routines (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual), for all equipment and such other equipment as may be agreed between COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and reporting of data into MAXIMO

• Collation of condition monitoring data

• Perform repair work as identified by planned preventative maintenance inspection and other inspections on equipment

• Prepare equipment for inspection or survey by verification authorities or third party ensuring the validity of all relevant certification

• Undertake other WORK (HLO, HDA, deck foreman, rigging loft controller)EQUIPMENT but deemed to be within their competence and fulfil such emergency duties as required.

• Responsible for the call off, integrity and contents of all installation-held crane spares supplied

• Liaise, where required, with the Fixed Lifting Equipment Examiner, locating equipment before an inspection visit, ensuring that certificates are in place and undertaking minor corrective maintenance.

• Certificate of  formal  Crane Operator Training issued by  industry  recognised Training body , or to have attended a manufactures training program in the operation and maintenance of offshore pedestal cranes.

• 3 years minimum experience operating Offshore Pedestal cranes  to include offloading and back loading supply vessels.

• Wire rope inspection course.

• To have knowledge of the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations and all legislation concerning lifting operations and be competent in using both fixed and portable lifting equipment.

• Valid combined offshore survival certificate.
