Job Description - Creative Director

Role: Creative Director - Marketing Agency

Salary: £60-70k

Location:Bucks (Hybrid/remote)

My client, a fast-growing creative marketing agency, is on the lookout for a Creative Director to take the reins of their creative team. Working with an exciting mix of clients across finance, sports, construction, and automotive, they deliver bold, insight-driven campaigns that make a real impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Creative Director or a senior creative ready to step up into a leadership role.

The Role

The Creative Director will oversee and inspire a multi-disciplinary creative team, managing the entire creative process from concept to delivery. They'll translate client briefs into powerful, results-driven ideas while keeping the agency's work ahead of the curve. Reporting directly to the Director, they'll play a pivotal role in shaping creative vision and driving excellence across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative direction for campaigns across multiple sectors, ensuring innovation and impact.
  • Manage and mentor a team of creatives (designers, copywriters, content creators), fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Turn client insights, cultural trends, and data into bold, compelling ideas.
  • Present creative strategies and concepts to clients with authority and confidence.
  • Work closely with account management and strategy teams to align creative outputs with client objectives.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven agency experience - an understanding of agency pace and expectations is essential.
  • Strong grasp of consumer insights, industry trends, and cultural shifts.
  • Leadership experience managing and motivating creative teams.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and storytelling skills.
  • Confident communicator, able to present and defend creative work effectively.
  • Able to balance creativity with commercial awareness and deadlines.
