Day rate: £170 -£223

Do you have the ability to deliver high-quality lessons in Creative Media Teacher subjects while maintaining excellent classroom behaviour and high expectations?

Can you confidently teach across Creative Media Teacher disciplines, including photography and digital design using Adobe or industry-standard software?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a forward-thinking Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in South Birmingham who are seeking a Creative Media Teacher to join their expanding department. The school is a brand-new state-of-the-art new build, offering outstanding facilities and an exciting working environment for any ambitious Creative Media Teacher.

This Creative Media Teacher role is a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2026. The successful Creative Media Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Art, DT and ICT, supporting students through project-based learning and clear assessment strategies to raise attainment and creativity across the curriculum.

The successful Creative Media Teacher will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Creative Media, Art, DT or ICT within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging, project-based learning
• Experience or confidence teaching photography and/or Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
• A creative, enthusiastic and resilient approach to teaching
