We are seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to manage the credit and collections process, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Proactively contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email
• Allocate payments accurately and maintain up-to-date records
• Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies efficiently
• Prepare and distribute regular debtor reports to management
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth credit control processes
• Maintain compliance with company credit policies and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a Credit Control role
• Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car due to rural location
