Credit Control

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team of six. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is qualified by experience and looking to grow within a supportive environment. You'll play a key role in managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment
• Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, and letter
• Allocate payments and reconcile accounts
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve queries
• Maintain accurate records of all credit control activity
• Prepare reports on debtor balances and aged debt
• Assist with month-end processes as required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a credit control or similar finance role
• Strong working knowledge of
  Microsoft Excel
  (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• Familiarity with Sage
  (training will be provided)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
