Job Description - Credit Control

A well-established distribution business is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This role plays a crucial part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and supporting smooth financial operations within a busy supply and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer debt collection and returns process
Process invoices, credit notes, and allocate payments
Monitor and recommend credit limits for customers
Work closely with commercial and customer service teams on account queries
Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Support with ad hoc finance tasks and reporting

What We’re Looking For:

Proven credit control experience in a similar role
Strong accuracy, organisation, and time management skills
Proficient in Excel and finance systems
Confident communicator with good customer service skills
