Job Description - Credit Control

A well-established distribution business is seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This role plays a crucial part in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and supporting smooth financial operations within a busy supply and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer debt collection and returns process
  • Process invoices, credit notes, and allocate payments
  • Monitor and recommend credit limits for customers
  • Work closely with commercial and customer service teams on account queries
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Support with ad hoc finance tasks and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven credit control experience in a similar role
  • Strong accuracy, organisation, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and finance systems
  • Confident communicator with good customer service skills
