Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant

📍100% Office Based 💷 £28,000 - £30,000 🕒 Permanent | Full Time ⏰ Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm 🚀 Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join a busy and growing business on a permanent basis.

This is a fully office-based role, ideally suited to someone with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience within Credit Control and Accounts, who is confident managing invoices, chasing outstanding debt, and working with Sage 200.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the sales ledger and credit control function
Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email
Building strong relationships with customers
Resolving invoice and payment queries
Allocating incoming payments
Raising and processing invoices
Maintaining accurate customer accounts
Producing aged debt reports
Supporting the wider accounts team with administrative duties
Using Sage 200 on a daily basis

Requirements

✅ Minimum 2-3 years' Credit Control experience

✅ Previous accounts and invoicing experience

✅ Sage 200 experience essential

✅ Strong communication and organisational skills

✅ Good attention to detail

✅ Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

✅ Must have the legal right to work in the UK on a permanent, full-time basis
