Credit Control Assistant

We're excited to be working with a fantastic client in Milton Keynes to recruit a proactive and detail-driven Accounts & Credit Controller.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience in accountancy and credit control who's ready to take the next step in their finance career. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you'll be a key member of the finance team, contributing to a range of essential tasks including invoice processing, reconciliations, credit management, and month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities as a Credit Control Assistant:

• Accurately process sales and purchase invoices

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collections

• Carry out regular bank and account reconciliations

• Support the month-end close process with key reporting and analysis

• Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance or accounts-based role

• Proven credit control experience (1+ year preferred)

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• A team player with a can-do attitude and eye for detail
