Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the credit control and cash allocation lifecycle, collaborating with local and offshore teams to reduce outstanding debt.
  • Produce accurate monthly and quarterly aged debtor reports and overdue premium analysis for Senior Management and Finance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Underwriters, Claims teams, and Brokers to resolve complex queries and investigate bad debt potential.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on payment discrepancies and support internal initiatives to automate and streamline operational workflows.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to internal conduct risks and international regulatory standards, including Solvency II.
  • Manage unallocated cash, investigate misallocated funds, and oversee the reconciliation of broker statements.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong background in the London Market or Reinsurance sectors.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven accounting experience within Reinsurance or Insurance (knowledge of both London and European markets is highly desirable).
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to process and analyze complex data sets efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
