Associate Team Leader - Credit Control / Finance Team

Job Title: Credit Control Team Leader
Location: Central Brighton
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (Hybrid Working)

Office Angels are recruiting for an Associate Team Leader to join a busy finance/credit control team. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills while supporting the day-to-day management of the team and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivating a small team to meet daily targets and service levels.
• Monitor team performance, providing coaching and support to help individuals improve and develop.
• Handle escalated queries and complex issues relating to credit control and customer accounts.
• Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of payments and invoices.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external clients or customers.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Skills & Experience:

• Over 3 years of experience in credit control and / or a team leader position.
• Some leadership or team supervision experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
