Elevation Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation based in Leeds is seeking a proactive and experienced Credit Control Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of its Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function across multiple entities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and credit control experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of credit controllers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
Manage complex customer accounts and drive timely payments
Collaborate with senior finance leadership on collection strategy and reporting
Oversee accurate billing processes and support process improvement initiatives
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure strong customer service across the team
Ensure accurate ledger maintenance, cash posting, and customer data integrity
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in credit control/accounts receivable with leadership responsibility
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups essential)
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
A results-driven approach with a track record of improving aged debt and DSO
