Credit Control Team Leader

Elevation Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation based in Leeds is seeking a proactive and experienced Credit Control Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of its Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function across multiple entities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and credit control experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of credit controllers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time

• Manage complex customer accounts and drive timely payments

• Collaborate with senior finance leadership on collection strategy and reporting

• Oversee accurate billing processes and support process improvement initiatives

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure strong customer service across the team

• Ensure accurate ledger maintenance, cash posting, and customer data integrity

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in credit control/accounts receivable with leadership responsibility

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups essential)

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

• A results-driven approach with a track record of improving aged debt and DSO
