Credit Controller

This Credit Controller position is ideal for those with a keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the outstanding credit balances of our clients within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

Description

• Managing outstanding credit balances and reducing debtor days.
• Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments.
• Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
• Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
• Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems.
• Checking and approving credit notes prepared by other departments.
• Providing accounts information to internal departments as needed.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in a Credit Control role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
