Key Responsibilities:

• Taking full responsibility for credit control across a group of companies within the professional services sector.
• Managing the full credit control process, including chasing overdue payments and escalating cases when required.
• Liaising with clients to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborating with internal teams to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
• Identifying debts requiring escalation and managing legal recovery processes where appropriate.
• Supporting the business’s financial operations while contributing to its ongoing growth and success.

What are they looking for?:

• Proven experience in a Credit Control role
• Confidence in managing the end-to-end credit control process, including debt escalation to legal action.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to grow professionally and take on additional responsibilities.
• Comfortable using accounting software and tools (specific systems experience is a plus).
