Credit Controller

• Full-time, permanent
• Location: Glasgow
• £28,000 annually

Our client in the Property Management sector is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team. This role is based in Glasgow City Centre, and is fully office-based with 35 working hours per week.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Follow established debt collection procedures
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and processes
• Stay updated on credit control best practices
• Reconcile complex accounts
• Calculate Direct Debit reviews and prepare DD increase review letters
• Manage and follow up on DD rejections
• Verify landlord registration (LLR) for contact details in new developments

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume credit control environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-discipline and motivation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

• Salary £28,000 with a contributory pension
