Michael Page are partnering with a business in Portsmouth who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent position.

Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Portsmouth and do require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Monitor and manage outstanding customer accounts.
• Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication.
• Allocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts.
• Set and review credit limits based on company policies.
• Perform credit checks on new and existing customers.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and payment arrangements.
• Resolve billing disputes and escalate issues when necessary.
• Prepare regular reports on aged debt and collections performance.
• Liaise with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth credit control processes.
• Support month-end closing by providing debtor information and updates.
