Credit Controller

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with an exciting Bradford business, who are looking for a credit controller to join their team. This is an exciting time in the company's history having smashed their previous profit forecast with future growth expected throughout 2025.

Reporting to the credit team lead, you will be working in a small team environment overseeing your own ledger. Candidates with good customer service experience are strongly encouraged to apply as full training is given.

You will be an organised candidate who excels in a busy environment. You will be an effective communicator and work well in a team as well as on your own, using initiative at all times. You will have experience of hitting deadlines and understand what is required of working in a busy, diverse credit control environment.

Duties include:

• Chasing payments owed via telephone, email and letter
• Placing accounts on stop
• Setting limits and agreeing payment terms
• Credit checking new customers
• Producing statements
• Allocate payments to accounts
• Ensure payments are made in agreed time and ensure remittances are received
• Raising queries
• Liaising with legal team when required
• Statement reconciliations
• Analysis of accounts and reporting on Excel

You may be an experienced credit controller looking for your next busy role, alternatively you may be a candidate with some good customer service experience looking for a break into credit control. Candidates in either field will be considered for this role and are encouraged to apply. Full training will be given.
