Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will:
Chase outstanding debts via phone, email and letter - credit control
Liaise with customers to resolve queries and agree on payment plans
Initiate legal proceedings if necessary, and issuing relevant letters
Take inbound and making outbound calls to customers
Assess customer affordability through completion of income and expenditure forms
Support the Credit Control Manager
What you will need:
Previous experience in a similar role, such as: Credit Controller / Collections Agent / Credit Control Clerk / Recoveries Agent / Debt Collection Agent / Customer Service Representative / Customer Support Officer
A confident and professional telephone manner
The ability to handle sensitive financial matters with resilience and tact
