Job Opportunity: Experienced Credit Controller (3-Month FTC – Potential to Go Permanent)

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Full-time | 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Potential for Permanent Conversion

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our finance team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company’s debtor ledger
Proactively chase outstanding debt via phone, email, and written correspondence
Allocate incoming payments and reconcile accounts
Build strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues efficiently
Monitor aged debt and escalate overdue accounts where necessary
Support the finance team with month-end reporting and ad-hoc duties

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a Credit Controller role (ideally 3+ years)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Confident using accounting systems and Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

Salary: £30,000-£35,000
