Description

Credit Controller responsibilities include:

• Check customer credit and set payment terms.
• Keep track of customer payments and overdue invoices.
• Contact customers to remind them about unpaid bills.
• Record and match incoming payments to the right accounts.
• Work out payment plans for overdue accounts if needed.
• Send regular reports on unpaid debts and cash flow.
• Update account records and keep files accurate.
• Work with sales and finance teams to solve payment issues.
• Follow company policies and legal rules around credit and debt.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller will have:

• Previous Credit Control experience
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and a levels of accuracy
• Previous knowledge of accounting software
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Positive can-do attitude
• Strong customer service skills
