Credit Controller

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join an established team within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role is based in Blackwood and involves managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments and accurate records.

Description

• Oversee customer accounts to ensure timely payment and address overdue balances effectively.
• Process and reconcile incoming payments in a precise and efficient manner.
• Maintain and update accurate financial records and customer profiles.
• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment queries and disputes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on credit policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on account statuses and outstanding debts.
• Support the implementation of strategies to minimise credit risks.
• Assist in improving processes to enhance the efficiency of credit control functions.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• A background in accounting, finance, or a related field within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to resolving payment issues and improving processes.

Job Offer

• Annual salary ranging from £27000 to £33000, depending on experience.
• 25 days of holiday leave, in addition to bank holidays.
