Credit Controller

Description

• Manage and maintain debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments are received.
• Perform credit checks and set appropriate credit limits for customers.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and distribute monthly statements of accounts to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve invoice queries.
• Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate action to recover outstanding debts.
• Provide regular reports on credit control activities to management.
• Assist in improving credit control processes and procedures where needed.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within accounting and finance.
• A strong understanding of financial processes and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving account issues.
