Credit Controller
Location - Chandlers Ford
Salary - £28,000 to £32,000 per year (DOE)
Hours - Monday to Friday (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established business based in Chandlers Ford on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for making sure customers pay on time to support steady cash flow and reduce risk to the business, while handling payment conversations professionally and passing on any issues to the right team to achieve the best result for both the customer and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor customer accounts by sending monthly statements, following up on overdue payments, and resolving any billing issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to request payment, discuss terms, and agree on suitable repayment plans when needed.
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, such as solicitors, to resolve outstanding debts, escalate complex issues, and support legal processes when required.
Prepare and maintain regular reports on aged debt, account status, and payment trends, supporting the finance and projects teams to improve cash flow and account management.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience of working in a similar Credit Control role.
Strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge of pursuing unpaid debts through small claims court. (Desirable)
