Description

• Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts and outstanding receivables.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve any payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and reminders in accordance with company policies.
• Work closely with internal departments to address and resolve account queries.
• Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness as needed.
• Generate regular reports on credit control performance for management review.
• Support the accounting and finance team with reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Adhere to company financial policies and assist in implementing best practices in credit control.

Profile

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within the accounting and finance sector.
• A good understanding of financial processes and credit management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot tables and basic formulas)
