Credit Controller – Redditch

£27k - £29k (DOE)

We are supporting a reputable client based in Redditch looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is fully based on site but is offering fantastic progression opportunities and opportunity to work with some fantastic customers!

Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from £27k - £29k max and the client is looking for someone available immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities as a Credit Controller:

• Sales Ledger & credit control
• Daily bank postings
• 4 weekly cash forecasting
• To provide relevant debtors balances to internal partners

Key tasks within the role:

• Ensure all sales ledger receipts are posted correctly to the Sales ledger.
• Ensure that Sales ledger is accurately maintained and balances to the Sales Ledger Control account held in the Company’s Balance sheet.
• Deal with any Sales ledger queries raised by customers relating to their accounts.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure customers queries are answered promptly and, in the manner, required by the company.
• Ensure that all new applications for credit accounts are dealt with in accordance with the current company procedures.
• Daily posting of all cash receipts.
• Adhere to all company systems, processes and procedures at all times.

Requirements of the role:

• Strong knowledge/experience of Excel.
• Previously worked as an experienced Credit Controller.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to deal with difficult customers.
• Experience of developing/maintaining strong working relationships.
