Job Description - Credit Controller

Description

The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will include:

  • Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Monitor customer accounts and assess creditworthiness to minimise financial risk.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding credit policies.
  • Prepare and analyse reports on credit performance and overdue accounts.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with administrative tasks related to credit control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in credit management.
  • Proactively identify process improvements to enhance credit control efficiency.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in credit control or a related Accounting & Finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit management practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer
