Credit Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Proactively contact clients via phone, email, and letter to chase outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve queries.
• Prepare regular reports on debtor status and escalate issues as needed.

• Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Desirable:
  
  • AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
