Credit Controller

Marks Sattin is working with Pudsey based manufacturer established over100 years ago to recruit a standalone Credit Controller into their finance team!

As Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable function for the globally operating business, working with some of the world's largest and recognised brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong credit control experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships both internally and externally.

For this role, our client will pay up to £30,000 full time and will consider part time. They can also offer early finish Fridays amongst other benefits.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain the customer ledger, ensuring timely payments
• Send statements and follow up on outstanding debts via phone, email, and letters
• Build and maintain relationships with UK and international customer finance teams
• Keep customer records accurate and up to date, including payment terms
• Work with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service to resolve invoice queries
• Manage credit holds and liaise with Sales on proforma accounts
• Support debtor reporting, KPIs, and raise ad hoc invoices
• Set up new customer accounts and manage credit limit checks

What You'll Need

• Experience in credit control, ideally with both UK and overseas customers
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; Sage 200 experience is a bonus
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
