Credit Controller

Talent Finance are recruiting for a detail-focused Credit Controller to join a dynamic on-site finance team based in Poole either on a Permanent or Temp to Perm basis.

As this fast-growing brand continues to expand across the UK and internationally, they're on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join their collaborative finance team.

This isn’t just about chasing invoices, it’s a key role where you’ll help shape the credit control function, influence company policy, and ensure the business stays on top of its cash flow.

Working closely with senior finance leaders, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact while building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Managing the full credit control cycle, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining great customer relationships
• Creating and tracking KPIs to measure credit performance, with regular reporting to management
• Partnering with the Financial Controller and Finance Director to refine and enforce the company’s Credit Policy
• Keeping the Debtors Ledger up to date and carrying out regular bank reconciliations
• Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies
• Working closely with customer service to sort out queries and keep things moving smoothly
• Making sure all issues are resolved quickly and communication stays clear and professional

Role Requirements:

• Sound experience in full end-to-end credit control and sales ledger management
• Confident communicator who builds trust and gets results
• Problem-solver with great attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (retail experience is a added plus!)
• Someone proactive, hands-on, and ready to take ownership

Benefits:

• £30,000 salary (depending on experience)
• 22 days holiday (rising to 25 with service) plus bank holidays
