An established, family-oriented distributor based in Gloucester is looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join their busy and supportive finance team.

• Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts

• Monitoring and chasing outstanding debts

• Building positive client relationships via phone and email

• Allocating payments and processing refunds

• Handling account queries and liaising with internal departments

• Performing reconciliations and generating monthly aged debt reports

• Opening, maintaining, and closing customer accounts

• Releasing orders and managing credit holds efficiently

• Experience in a credit control or similar finance role

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

• Attention to detail with an analytical mindset

• Team-focused approach and confidence using data entry software

• Calm, persistent and customer-focused under pressure

• £32,000 salary + annual bonus
