Michael Page are partnering with a successful business looking for a Credit Controller to join their accountancy department.

Client Details

Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team needs additional support.

Description

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and manage the credit control process.
• Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve disputes efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and payment agreements.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve invoicing processes and minimise credit risks.
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers to make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations in all credit-related activities.
• Contribute to achieving departmental targets and support the overall financial goals of the business.

Profile

In order to be considered for the Credit Control position, you must be able to do most, if not all of the above.

Job Offer

• Salary in the range of £28,000 - £29,000 per annum DOE.
