Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This role is based in our Birmingham office working on a hybrid basis.

A snapshot of your day:

• Ensuring that all clients are chased for payment within their agreed payment terms
• Dealing with all clients in a polite and efficient manner
• Resolving any client queries to everyone’s satisfaction
• Preparing a monthly Credit Control report for finance committee
• Attend and participate at monthly Credit Control meeting with line manager
• Advising Sales Ledger on any discrepancies
• Monitoring of unapplied payments
• Production of all client Monthly Statements

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous credit control experience is essential
• Experience of working within an accounts function would be necessary
• Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective team working
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Oracle fusion or a similar ERP system is highly desirable
• Minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Maths and English
