Credit Controller

Location: Ashford
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: 6 months

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting confidentially on behalf of our client for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value in a busy environment while enhancing your experience within a well-established organisation.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain the sales ledger

* Proactively chase outstanding invoices via phone and email

* Reduce aged debt and improve cash flow

* Allocate incoming payments and resolve discrepancies

* Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

* Produce aged debt reports and provide updates to management

* Support month-end processes as required

What our client is looking for:

* Proven experience in a Credit Controller or similar role

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Ability to work to targets and deadlines

* Good attention to detail and organisational skills

* Competent IT skills, including Excel
