Hybrid role - 1 day in the office/4 days working from home

Up to £40,000 - £30,000 basic + a bonus scheme paid from day one earning 8-10k pa

A large and expanding company is currently looking for a driven, motivated and highly experienced Credit Controller to be based at their Peterborough site, working alongside one other Credit Controller. The role is part of a wider team of 20 credit controllers based across 3 sites in the South East. This role would suit candidates with a passion for working within a fast paced and demanding work environment, where your efforts are rewarded with an excellent bonus scheme paid monthly (from day one). The right candidate will have previous experience of working with large complex accounts, reasonably high values, and a proven ability to build relationships with internal sales teams.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, your duties will include:

• Responsible for a multicurrency ledger worth £8-12 million per month
• Chasing outstanding debt by telephone and email
• Maintaining all customer accounts within designated credit limit and terms
• Dealing with high value blue chip clients
• Actioning queries and disputed invoices as quickly as possible
• Working closely with sales to help resolve queries promptly
• Referring any problematic accounts, and preparing accounts for litigation

Requirements

• Commercial credit control experience, ideally within a large organisation and part of a Credit Control team
• Some experience of working with high value key accounts
• Ability to cope with working within a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Experience of working with sales teams is essential (to resolve queries)
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Self motivated, excellent organisational and time management skills
