Due to growth and sector expansion, we are recruiting for a
Credit Controller
to join our
Altrincham office.
You will be joining a dynamic and diverse team in a fantastic modern office in a convenient location! This role will be focused on managing our
US customers .
What you’ll be doing:
Managing the Debt of a mixed size portfolio of Clients
Maintaining strong Client relationships both external and inter departmental
Assist with ensuring new Clients are onboarded with accurate data entered into system.
Understand the concept of Credit checking new and existing clients to help manage risk and be aware of any credit restrictions placed on a new client.
Targeted month on month overdue debt levels
Working closely with Shared Service Centre and Cash Receipt centre.
Prepare reports on debt and present these in weekly debtors meeting to senior finance & operations managers with Senior Credit Controller support.
To be considered you need:
Minimum 1 years previous experience within a Credit Control function
Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail.
Professional manner & confidence to communicate with senior people with the organisation
Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
Ability to work well within a team
Previous knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Navision desirable
Experience within a shared services function an advantage
Working to targeted month end debt levels with focus on year end target
