Credit Controller - Lloyd's Broker

I am partnering with my client, an ambitious Lloyd’s Broker, to recruit a Credit Controller for their expanding team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote working alongside time in their City of London office. You’ll join a brilliant team and benefit from guidance from an excellent mentor. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with around 2 years’ Lloyd’s Broking credit control/ IBA experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor ledgers, chase premium payments, allocate cash, and ensure funds are collected or escalated in line with payment terms
• Track aged debt, resolve unallocated balances, and ensure credit balances are paid out within required timelines
• Provide commentary for monthly reports, maintain accurate files, and follow established Credit Control guidelines
• Adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and external rules (e.g. FCA, Lloyd’s)

About You

• Experience in preparing and maintaining accounting records and reports
• Previous experience in a Credit Control (within Insurance Broking) / IBA / Account Control role
• Insurance experience, brokerage experience ideal
