Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk

A lovely company based in South Woodham Ferrers need a new Credit Controller. This would make a lovely position for someone who wants to take ownership of the full function and enjoys a varied and busy role that has a lot of administration. This is office based but they possibly could consider one day a week from home.

Daily duties

• Managing the sales ledger
• Resolving queries and liaising with customers
• Working closely with the sales and customer service team to recover outstanding invoices
• Setting credit limits, reviewing credit limits.
• Managing customer direct debits
• Posting receipts and reconciliations
• Ensuring compliant to credit insurance requirements
• Reporting on aged debt
• Maintaining accurate records

Skills required

• An experienced Credit Controller who is happy in a sole charge role and a more administrative position
• Someone who can commit to working in an office
• Good systems experience and Excel
