Credit Controller - West Lothian

The Role:

This role will involve working as part of the credit control team maintaining client and customer relationships, managing the debt ledger and supporting the finance function and other internal teams.

• Proactively Chasing debt
• Maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Forecast unexpected payments
• Onboarding new accounts
• Issuing invoices and credit notes
• Processing payments and negotiating payment plans when necessary
• Escalating accounts when appropriate
• Debtor reviews and reporting

Candidate Profile:

• Proven credit control experience 1 year’s minimum
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and technical skills
• Ability to chase debt and negotiate payment plans for clients of all sizes
• Proficient in Sage or similar and excel
