About the Role:

Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Executive to join its Motor team. You will independently manage a caseload of complex intermediate and multi-track Credit Hire claims, while also supporting junior team members through mentoring and guidance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of a diverse case portfolio, influence litigation strategy and contribute to team development within a supportive and high-performing environment.

Team Environment:

You’ll be part of a collaborative Motor department known for its deep expertise and high standards in defending motor-related claims for top-tier insurer clients. The team supports hybrid working across its UK office locations including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and Sheffield.

Client Base:

• Leading UK motor insurers
• Claims handling organisations
• Self-insured businesses

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a personal caseload of intermediate/multi-track complex Credit Hire claims
• Draft and file court documents and pleadings
• Lead negotiations to achieve timely and effective case resolution
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and service level agreements
• Provide mentorship and training to junior colleagues
• Maintain a strong focus on client service excellence

Required Experience:

• Approximately 4+ years’ experience handling high-value litigated Credit Hire claims (intermediate/multi-track)
• Demonstrable ability to manage cases independently through all litigation stages
• Strong negotiation, organisation and communication skills
• Formal legal qualifications are an advantage, but substantial practical litigation experience is essential
