Credit Hire Litigator

A well-established law firm based near Cheshire Oaks is seeking a Credit Hire Litigator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in credit hire and/or personal injury.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of 130-150 Fast and Multi-Track litigated and pre-litigated Credit Hire/Injury Claims.
• Handling cases from pre-litigation through to trial.
• Drafting court documents, witness statements, and preparing trial bundles.
• Ensuring efficient case progression, complying with court directions and internal deadlines.
• Using case management software to manage cases effectively.
• Providing regular client updates and delivering exceptional client care.
• Identifying and addressing technical points in defenses and evidence.

Requirements

• Essential: Proven experience in litigation with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Previous experience with RTA/Credit Hire claims is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to spot technical points, and meet strict court deadlines.
• Strong focus on client care and ability to assist clients in navigating the court process.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience with case management software and ability to meet high settlement and litigation targets.
